Mondays Lesson (06.10.14).
In Monday’s lesson we started off with a warm up, the reason
why we did a warm up was to relax our body, and release any tension. We all did some character exercises, this was
useful as we all got in to character, which helped us when performing our scenes.
Then some of us were given targets/feedback from our Thursday
lesson (02.10.14). I didn’t get any targets myself but I still found it helpful
because it was useful to listen to other peoples targets as it made me think
about what I could do to improve my scene.
Then we ran through the play a couple of times, this was
helpful for me as it gave me a better idea of how things would run when we
perform Noughts and Crosses at settling in evening. Then each group got feedback from our teacher
about our scene. My target was ‘to work on our spacing when performing the
scene’. I found this helpful as when I performed my scene I am making sure the
spacing is correct and we are not too close together.
As a whole I found the lesson very helpful as we were all
given group targets and some people individual targets, and we were able to
work on the targets as a class when we ran through the play.
